CONNECT 2026 Real Estate Conference Recap

On 7th May 2026, the Asset Reports team was proud to attend CONNECT 2026 at Crown Perth alongside more than 1,000 professionals from across Western Australia’s real estate industry. Hosted by REIWA, the event brought together property managers, business owners, industry leaders and suppliers for a full day focused on education, innovation, leadership and the future of the industry.

CONNECT 2026 provided a valuable opportunity for industry professionals to come together, share insights and discuss the evolving challenges and opportunities facing the real estate sector. Throughout the day, attendees heard from a range of respected keynote speakers, each offering unique perspectives across leadership, performance, technology, customer experience and the future direction of the industry.

One of the standout speakers was Mat Steinwede, recognised as one of Australia’s most well-known real estate agents, who shared insights drawn from years of experience within the property industry. Samantha McLean, a trusted voice in real estate and artificial intelligence, explored the growing role of AI within the industry and the importance of adapting to technological change.

Leadership, wellness and performance expert Tanja Lee delivered valuable perspectives around resilience, mindset and maintaining performance in high-pressure environments, while award-winning author and work futurist Andrea Clarke spoke about how people and organisations respond to change and the importance of adaptability in modern business.

Attendees also heard from Amanda Stevens, one of Australia’s leading experts in customer experience, who shared insights into communication, connection and evolving client expectations across the industry.

The event also included important discussions surrounding anti-money laundering legislation and privacy obligations, highlighting the increasing importance of compliance, risk management and professional standards across the real estate sector.

Throughout the day, the Asset Reports team enjoyed connecting with both familiar faces and new contacts at our booth. Events such as CONNECT continue to provide valuable opportunities to strengthen industry relationships, engage in meaningful conversations and better understand the evolving needs of property managers and agencies across Western Australia.

A big thank you to REIWA for hosting another successful CONNECT event and for continuing to create opportunities that bring the industry together.
